Recently, Pepper hosted an event in New York on India. The event was called “India: Interesting Opportunities Beyond Outsourcing.” In the last ten years India has become a global presence and offers investment business opportunities in various sectors.
This discussion highlighted the practical aspects of doing business with India and touched briefly on certain legal and tax issues. Speakers included Radhika Rajan, Portfolio Manager, Indian Equities for The Chatterjee Group, and Paul Weitzel, Executive Vice President with Hirco PLC. The session was moderated by Pepper partner Jim Rosener.
